Jeffrey W. Burquest Memorial Scholarship
Amount/ Award: One/$1,000 awarded Fall of upcoming academic year.
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Jeffrey W. Burquest Memorial Scholarship is to honor the memory of Jeffrey W. Burquest by providing scholarship for deserving Architecture students.
Type: Merit and financial need.
Eligibility: Students majoring in the B.Arch program and currently classified as Upper Division.

Patricia L. Eidson Scholarship in Interior Architecture
Amount/ Award: One/$1,000 awarded Fall of upcoming academic year.
Statement of Purpose: Patrica L. Eidson died in October 1994, leaving a scholarship to be awarded annually to current undergraduate majors in Interior Design (BID) or Masters of Architecture with a focus on Interior Design.
Type: Merit.
Eligibility: Students majoring in Interior Design and currently enrolled in the second or third year of design studio or students in the M.Arch program.

Jason Henry Wittrock Memorial Scholarship
Amount/ Award: $500 to $1, 000 awarded annually
Statement of Purpose: The purpose of the Jason Henry Wittrock Memorial Scholarship is to honor the life and memory of Jason Henry Wittrock by providing an annual scholarship to a deserving student in Construction Science.
Type: Merit.
Eligibility: All full-time, regularly enrolled students in the University of Oklahoma, College of Architecture, Construction Science programs are eligible for this scholarship. Any eligible deserving undergraduate or graduate student in is qualified for either an initial award or a subsequent award if, in the opinion of the selection committee, the student is making satisfactory progress toward graduation, the student needs supplemental financial assistance, and the student is actively providing community service within the State of Oklahoma. For purpose of this scholarship, satisfactory progress shall be defined as the achievement of and maintenance of at least a 2. 5 overall grade point average on a 4.0 scale and community service shall be defined as providing written evidence of being an officer or a member of a charitable organization such as Habitat for Humanity and donating a minimum of 20 volunteer hours per semester to the charitable organization.

COA Board of Visitors Scholarship
Amount/Award: At least one/$500 awarded Fall of upcoming academic year
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Board of Visitors Scholarship is to facilitate student retention by providing economic assistance.
Type: Merit and financial need.
Eligibility: Currently enrolled major in the College of Architecture
Available to: Undergrad and Grad.


Joe and Jayne Buskuhl Scholarship
Amount/Award: At least five/$1,000 ($500 per semester of upcoming academic year) for tuition support to be awarded to one student within each of the five disciplines in the College of Architecture.
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Joe and Jayne Buskuhl Scholarship is to provide economic assistance to academically promising undergraduate or graduate students who have limited financial means and are majoring in Architecture, Construction Science, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or Regional and City Planning to facilitate recruitment and/or retention.
Type: Merit and financial need.
Eligibility: Currently declared, enrolled major in the College of Architecture
Available to: Incoming Freshmen, Undergrad, Grad


Centex Construction Group OU Junior Construction Science Scholarship
Amount/Award: One Award of $1425 awarded in the fall semester of upcoming scholastic year.
Statement of Purpose: For undergraduate CNS majors with no more than 66 hours remaining.
Type: Merit and financial need.
Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled full-time CNS major and have completed the previous semester as full-time in order to apply. Must be a member of the CSA student organization w/ minimum 2.50 OU GPA and 2.75 GPA in CNS classes.
Available to: Undergraduate CNS majors in the 3rd year of the CNS program.


Construction Science Recruiting and Retention Scholarship
Amount/Award: Amount varies based upon how many awards.
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the CNS Recruiting Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to incoming freshmen, sophomores, and juniors majoring in Construction Science.
Type: Merit and financial need.
Eligibility: Currently declared, enrolled major in Construction Science.
Available to: Incoming Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors.


Oklahoma City CSI Foundation, Incorporated Scholarship
Amount/Award: $1,000 for the school year, with 1/2 of budgeted moneys to be paid for the fall semester, and 1/2 to be paid during the spring semester after recipient shows continued eligibility.
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Oklahoma City CSI Foundation, Incorporated Scholarship is to provide economic assistance and support for deserving candidates in the Construction Science, Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape Architecture.
Type: Merit and financial need.
Eligibility: Students with a 2.5 grade average on 4.0 grading system and enrolled in the college of Architecture and maintain a minimum of 9.0 credits per semester.
Available To: Undergraduates of Junior status or higher.


Michael R. and Cara Shimkus Hall Architecture Scholarship
Amount/Award: One/$500 awarded Fall of upcoming academic year
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Michael R. and Cara Shimkus Hall Architecture Scholarship is to provide scholarships for deserving Architecture students.
Type: Merit.
Eligibility: Second, third, or fourth year student in Architecture in good academic standing with OU and the College.
Available to: Undergrad.


Flintco, Inc. OU Senior Construction Science Scholarship
Amount/Award: $1,500
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Flinto, Inc. Senior Construction Science Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to deserving seniors pursuing a career in Construction Science.
Type: Merit/Need
Eligibility: Currently enrolled full-time major in Construction Science with at least 15, but no more that 36 hours remaining. Current member of CSA, minimum OU cumulative GPA of 2.5 and minimum CNS GPA of 2.75. (Students are not eligible for both the Centex Construction Junior Scholarship and Flintco, Inc. Senior Scholarship.)

IIDA OKC City Center Literary Scholarship
Amount/Award: One award of $100.00 awarded Fall of upcoming academic year
Statement of Purpose: The purpose of IIDA OKC City Center Literary Scholarship is to provide Interior Design Students access to interior design/architecture/art books.
Type: Merit and financial need
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in Interior Design in the College of Architecture
Available To: Undergraduate


Lippert Brothers Inc. Scholarship
Amount/Award: At least one $1,000 scholarship awarded Fall of upcoming academic year.
Type: Merit and financial need.
Eligibility: Construction Science major admitted to Junior year or Construction Science graduate student with at least one more academic year remaining. Candidate must have worked in the commercial or municipal construction industry for a minimum of (one) summer (or equivalent period of time). Career goals of applicant must be focused on commercial or municipal construction, and must be currently involved in University of Oklahoma, College of Architecture, or Construction Science Division activities or student organizations.
Available to: CNS juniors or grad students with at lest one full academic year remaining.


Michael and Mary Mahaffey Scholarship
Amount/Award: One/$1,000 awarded Fall of upcoming academic year
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Michael and Mary Mahaffey Scholarship is to provide economic assistance to academically promising students of limited financial means who are pursuing the study of Architecture with a focus on single and multi-family housing, and to encourage interest in the professional career in Architecture in the State of Oklahoma.
Type: Merit and financial need.
Eligibility: Demonstrated financial need and good academic standing in third or fourth year of the undergraduate Architecture program or equivalent standing in the Master of Architecture program, and must be returning for at least one full year of study in Architecture at the University of Oklahoma.
Available to: Undergrad and Grad.


Oklahoma Ready Mixed Concrete Association Scholarship
Amount/Award: One/$500 awarded Fall of upcoming academic year
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Oklahoma Ready Mixed Concrete Association Scholarship is to encourage creative and practical utilization of concrete materials in design application and construction.
Type: Merit.
Eligibility: Students of junior, senior or graduate classification majoring in Architecture,Construction Science or Regional and City Planning.
Available to: Undergrad and Grad.


Retail Contractors Association (RCA) Scholarship
Amount/Award: $1,250
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Retail Contractors Association Scholarship is to provide assistance to academically deserving students pursuing a career in commercial construction upon graduation.
Type: Merit
Eligibility: Scholarship will be awarded to a student of Construction, Construction Science, Construction Management, or similar academic discipline. Must demonstrate declared interest in pursuing a career in commercial construction following graduation (suggested this is accomplished by serving an internship with commercial company.) CNS GPA of 3.0 and overall GPA of 2.5. Must maintain 3.0 after receiving scholarship.

Trus Joist MacMillian Scholarship
Amount/Award: One/up to $500 (amount varies) awarded Fall of upcoming academic year.
Statement of Purpose: The goal of the Trus Joist MacMillan is to recognize expressed creativity in the application of structures/mechanics.
Type: Merit.
Eligibility: Students in the College of Architecture either currently enrolled or who have successfully completed coursework in Architectural Structures I or II, or Mechanics for Architects I or II, or other advanced structures/mechanics coursework.
Available to: Undergrad and Grad.
